United Way of Northern New Jersey is pleased to announce two new members to its Board of Trustees: Brian Bovino and Ted O’Dell.
An Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase and Co., Brian Bovino is currently head of real-time analytics solutions within the company’s consumer and community bank business. He and his team deliver real-time intelligence, with the aim of providing a better customer experience. Prior to this new role, Bovino spent several years working in JPMorgan’s asset and wealth management business, most recently as head of data science strategy for asset management.
Ted O’Dell has nearly 40 years of finance experience. Prior to retiring, he served as director of finance in the comptroller’s department for what was then called Chartis Insurance, a division of AIG. He has also held various leadership positions at MetLife, Mutual of America Life Insurance Company, AXA and Cigna / AIFA Worldwide Inc. He started his career at what was then known as Deloitte & Touche.
O’Dell is also a longtime volunteer with United Way. For more than 40 years, he has dedicated his time to the organization, serving on committees and as a board member and treasurer.
“I’m excited to welcome both Ted and Brian to the board and look forward to the positive impact they will help us make throughout our communities,” said United Way CEO Kiran Handa Gaudioso. “With the help of our entire board, we will continue changing the course for families we call ALICE and those in poverty who are struggling to afford the basics.”
