The Drumbeat for ALICE is Strong

ALICE National Summit draws more than 550 attendees to New Orleans

The drumbeat in support of struggling ALICE families was strong and reverberating across the country from our In Step For ALICE National Summit last week in New Orleans.

Three days. 120 speakers. 41 inspiring sessions. 575 attendees from 37 states, D.C., Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Representatives from United Ways, Fortune 500s, foundations, government agencies, and nonprofits. And, yes, New York Giants great Tiki Barber.

All in lockstep to help ALICE rise!

We could not have achieved this without the following contributions:

  • The generosity of our 12 sponsors who made this event possible, including Event Sponsors Johnson&Johnson, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, and United Way Worldwide; Gold Sponsors Entergy and Fairview Insurance Agency Associates;

  • The incredible wit and heart of our Master of Ceremonies, New York Giants great Tiki Barber;

  • The wisdom and inspiration of our Keynote Speakers Sara Bishop, Gregory Haile, Regina Hartley, and Steven Pemberton;

  • The steadfast partnership of our co-hosts United Way of Northern New Jersey and United Way of Southeast Louisiana, and CEO Michael Williamson;

  • The dedication of every speaker and attendee to creating lasting positive change for ALICE families.

For those unable to attend the Summit, a taste of the excitement is available through photos, videos, and content through our new United For ALICE account on Instagram as well as on Facebook or X.

Help us keep the drumbeat going – share with us how you are putting ALICE into Action. Help bring about equity for ALICE families living paycheck to paycheck.

Because when ALICE rises, we all rise!
